“Vishal will have celebrity guests on his shows and will indulge them in a casual chat. One of the prominent segments will revolve around charity, where celebrities will raise funds for the underprivileged and those who are in dire need of money for medical treatment. Instead of doing it like a regular chat show, getting guests to do their bit for a cause will connect with the audiences.”
Actor Vishal, who is basking in the success of his latest Tamil thriller Irumbu Thirai, is expected to don the hat of a television show host, which will mark his debut on the small screen. Inspired by Telugu television show Memu Saitham, which is being hosted by Lakshmi Manchu, it is learnt that Vishal will also do something along similar lines.
Vishal currently awaits the release of Sandakozhi 2, which marks his reunion with director Linguswamy after a decade. Meanwhile, Irumbu Thirai is enjoying a good run at the cinemas. Talking about the project, Vishal had said: “It’s been my long-time desire to be part of a stylish film that today’s youngsters can relate with. When Mithran brought the story of Irumbu Thirai and narrated it to me, I thought it’d be a great follow up to Thupparivaalan. Cinematographer George C Williams encouraged me to take up this project. He has great success story with Samantha in two films (Kaththi and Theri). So, I believe the success track will continue with this project as well.”
