Oppo on Friday unveiled a new mid-range smartphone in India. Oppo A3s is priced at Rs 10,990, and comes in two colour options of red and dark purple. The smartphone will be available starting July 15 via Flipkart, Amazon, Paytm and retail stores.
“With A3s, we aim to offer consumers, especially youth, who are looking for an advanced camera phone that offers a strong battery life,” said Will Yang, Brand Director, Oppo India.
Oppo A3s specifications
Oppo A3s features a 6.2-inch full-screen display with a notch cutout on top. Under the hood of the smartphone runs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. Also on offer is 16GB of onboard storage.
In the photography department, Oppo A3s sports a dual-camera setup with a 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensor. Up front it houses an 8-megapixel AI-powered selfie camera. The smartphone is fuelled by a 4230mAh battery.
On the software front, it runs ColorOS 5.1 based on Android OS. Oppo A3s also comes with a “music party” function that would enable users connect multiple smartphones with versions of OPPO’s own Android-based ColorOS 5.1 or above to play the same track using hotspot, eliminating the need for speakers.
