Vietnamese smartphone brand Mobiistar on Wednesday announced its entry into the Indian market with its first smartphone, the Mobiistar XQ Dual. Priced at Rs 7,999, the smartphone will be available from May 30 exclusively via Flipkart. The company is also offering a warranty of one year on the smartphone.
The highlight of the Mobiistar XQ Dual is the dual-front camera setup that consists of 13-megapixel and 8-megapixel sensors. Mobiistar claims that the dual-selfie camera delivers a higher range of luminance levels in photographs taken in bright sunlight, with more details, contrast and colour ranges. It also has 120-degree wide-angle support for selfies.
With this price tag, the Mobiistar XQ Dual will be competing against the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Y1, Oppo Realme 1, Honor 7C and a range of similarly priced Android smartphones that focus on selfie enthusiasts.
Mobiistar XQ Dual Specifications
The smartphone measures 154.3 x 76.6 x 7.9mm and weighs 160 grams. Running on Android 7.1.2, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 505 for graphics. Also on offer is 32GB of internal storage which is further expandable via a microSD card. Mobiistar XQ Dual comes with a 5.5-inch full HD display.
For photography, Mobiistar XQ Dual has a single 13-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture and dual tone LED flash. At the front, it has 13-megapixel and 8-megapixel cameras with f/2.2 aperture. The camera takes 120-degree wide angle selfies but at 8-megapixel resolution.
In terms of connectivity, the phone supports dual-SIM, 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.1. The smartphone is powered by a 3,000mAh battery.
