IPL 2018: Here’s the weather forecast in Kolkata ahead of Eliminator between KKR and RR

Kolkata: The eleventh season of Indian Premier League (IPL) is finally getting closer to the end with Qualifiers, eliminator and final left to be played. While Sunrisers Hyderabad will take on Chennai Super Kings in the Qualifier 1 at Wankhede Stadium on Tuesday, Kolkata Knight Riders will host Rajasthan Royals in the eliminator on Wednesday.

The weather in Kolkata on Wednesday will play a very important role during the KKR vs RR match with no reserve day kept, if the match is not played under any circumstances.

According to reports, there will be heavy rainfall in the afternoon could become a major factor before the start of the play. There will be 51 per cent chance of rain in Kolkata till 1 pm.

Although the reports also suggests that the chances of a shower will decrease to 33 per cent as we move closer to the start of the game which is set to begin at 7.00 pm, the rain is expected to increase by 51 per cent.

In case the game gets called off, it will be KKR who will advance as they finished ahead of RR on the points table in league stage. They will then take on against the loser from Qualifier 1 – either CSK or SRH – in Qualifier 2 on May 25th.
