Infinix Mobile, the online smartphone brand of China-based Transsion Holdings, on Thursday launched a new smartphone in India. Infinix Smart 2 starts at Rs 5,999 for the base model. There’s another variant which is priced at Rs 6,999. The smartphone will be available via Flipkart.
“As India is undergoing rapid technology changes with 4G LTE expected to be adopted by 85 per cent of the Indian market by 2018, hence, there is a pressing need for Dual-VoLTE smartphones in the budget segment,” Anish Kapoor, CEO Infinix India, said in a statement.
Infinix Smart 2 specifications
Infinix Smart 2 features a 5.45-inch HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The smartphone is powered a MediaTek 6739 processor. It comes with 2GB RAM plus 16GB storage, and 3GB RAM plus 32GB storage.
For photography, Infinix Smart 2 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. Up front it houses an 8-megapixel selfie camera dual flash. The smartphone is fuelled by a 3,050mAh battery.
Infinix Smart 2 also comes with support for dual 4G VoLTE.
