Former Supermodel Anca Verma to be the showstopper at a fundraiser for cancer survivors on 14th October in New Delhi.
Former Supermodel and erstwhile Miss Universe Romania Anca Verma will walk on ramp as the showstopper to raise fund for cancer survivors at the 12th edition of Festival Of Hope Foundation on 14th October at Sirifort Auditorium, New Delhi.
Cancer Awareness Campaign leads by the Festival of hope is a platform to create awareness about all types of cancer through various fashion events,seminars and workshops.
Shalini Vig Wadhwa in collaboration with Landwehr Orchestra, Kotwara, Mehraab & Rosetree will host the event.
International Social Activist and a business magnate Anca Verma is an eminent name in the Global Women Industrialists. She is the wealthiest Romanian in the world according to Forbes Romania. Anca was formerly Miss Romania and a Supermodel in Europe before stepping in the business arena.
Cancer awareness is important to Anca as her father-in-law Congress Politician Shrikant Verma passed away of Cancer in 1986 and the Verma Family setup ‘Shrikant Verma Charitable Trust’ in his memory to help cancer victims and has setup hospitals and cancer diagnostic Centers in remote areas of India such as Chattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh Andhra and Orissa where faculties to diagnose cancer were non-existent. Anca is deeply involved with the Trust activities and till now close to 11,000 patients have been provided medical assistance under the aegis of the trust of which Anca is the Managing Trustee that manages two cancer diagnostic and research centres in Chattisgarh and a cancer hospital in Madhya Pradesh.
Currently, Anca Verma holds the position of Chairperson of Olialia World, which is a Lithuanian multinational corporation, owned by her husband Industrialist Abhishek Verma.
